Resolve customer issues, recover stalled orders, or connect a retail partner. Choose the product and delivery model around that workflow, with agreed acceptance before rollout.
Start with your operating problem
One workflow. A clear owner. A measurable result.
One agent for the customer and the order: StateSet built the CX agent and the order system behind it, so a resolved issue includes the order work. Keep the systems you need and qualify the connections around your first workflow.
Warehouse and transportation, when the scope is ready.
WMS facility pilots qualify receiving and fulfillment on your floor. Parcel TMS needs carrier and dispatch scope confirmation. Freight TMS is available for developer-alpha evaluation.
Your team operates the software
Choose the software products, qualify the workflows, and supervise the agents with standard support within your agreed scope.
Request a separate managed-service scope with named escalation owners, coverage, and agreed service levels. Managed fees are separate from the software calculator.
Explore CX for customer support, OMS for order orchestration, WMS for warehouse execution, TMS for transportation, and EDI for trading-partner connectivity. StateSet Sync is now iCommerce OMS.
StateSet Operations is a managed service for DTC brands and their 3PLs. Agents work order exceptions, inventory reconciliation, EDI and B2B flows, returns, carrier claims, and tier-1 CX across your existing systems. A dedicated escalation team owns the outcome under a contractual SLA. Pricing is per order, not per seat.
These per-order service packages are distinct from the software usage commitment. Your proposal states which software charges are included or separate, the work covered, and the escalation team’s responsibilities. The targets below are proposed contract terms, not measured results or universal guarantees. Coverage, response times, exclusions, reporting, and any service credits must be agreed in writing.

How the work gets done
Agents handle the agreed tasks. Specialists own the contracted escalation scope. Reviewed cases can inform workflow improvements under the agreed data-use policy.
1. Detect
The sync layer flags stalled orders, failed syncs, inventory discrepancies, dead-letter items, SLA risks, and inbound CX.
2. Resolve
An agent acts inside your runbook and permissions. Every action is logged, and reversible where the system allows.
3. Escalate
Low-confidence or high-value cases (large refunds, inventory write-offs, B2B pricing) go to an ops specialist within the SLA.
4. Review
Review resolved cases and test proposed workflow changes under the agreed data-use policy before expanding automation.
5. Report
You get a daily ops briefing and a monthly SLA report. 3PL partners get the same view across their brands.
Guardrails
Per-brand action limits
Agents act only within the dollar, quantity, and action types your runbook allows.
Two-key approval on money
Refunds, credits, and other money movement above your threshold need a second approval.
Full audit log
Every read, write, approval, and escalation is recorded with its inputs and result.
Automation gate
Agree on representative test cases, quality thresholds, review gates, and acceptance evidence before enabling a new task.
SLA credits
When we miss the SLA, credits apply to your invoice.

What you get
With StateSet Operations
In-house ops hires
Flexible, high-context people
Agents work around the clock, coverage does not depend on one hire, and cost scales per order instead of per salary.
Offshore BPOs
Scripted labor, billed per hour
Agents act directly in your systems under your runbook, priced per order instead of per hour.
Integration SaaS
Connectors your team still operates
We operate the integrations and own the outcome under an SLA.
AI CX tools
Customer conversations and connected actions
Evaluate StateSet on the specific cross-system workflow, operational ownership, failure recovery, and evidence your business requires.
For 3PLs: offer managed operations under your name
Your brands blame the warehouse for upstream data problems. Offer managed operations as part of your service, and StateSet delivers it. Per-order pricing sits next to your pick-and-pack fees, and your floor sees fewer bad orders coming from upstream.
Every proposal should name the first workflow, supported systems, delivery responsibilities, success measures, and acceptance criteria. Timing follows the agreed scope and access requirements.
01 · Together
Define the first workflow
Agree on systems, supported actions, expected volume, source-of-truth ownership, and the business outcome to measure.
02 · StateSet configures · your team authorizes
Configure supported connections
Set up the agreed integrations, mappings, and policies. Your team supplies access, a business owner, and representative test cases.
03 · Together
Accept the workflow
Verify successful work, policy refusals, human handoffs, duplicates, timeouts, recovery, and the corresponding usage records.
04 · Named owners on both teams
Launch a bounded scope
Record acceptance, monitoring, escalation contacts, operating limits, rollback steps, and support responsibilities before production activation.
Software & supported onboarding
The CX, OMS, WMS, and Parcel TMS commitments include software access, agreed standard integrations, workflow configuration, and standard support within the signed scope. Your team operates the workflows and owns business policy.
Separately scoped services
Custom connectors, exceptional migration, managed operations, dedicated escalation coverage, and service-level commitments require a separate proposal. EDI and freight include only the services specified in their quotes. Hardware, physical warehouse work, and carrier charges are separate.
A managed-operations proposal states which software charges are included or separate and how the same work is counted. Build your rollout scope →
The workflows we run
Each guide covers the workflow, required integrations, controls, and how to measure it, whether StateSet runs it for you or your team runs it on the platform.
Subscribers ask to skip, pause, change products, or cancel. Support manually updates the subscription tool and sometimes the next order is already processing.
A lost shipment becomes a support ticket, a replacement order, an inventory adjustment, and a refund question. Nobody has one view of whether the issue is actually resolved.
